Hello all,
I hope you're having a good week.
I wanted to share some update. There's an upcoming game I've been working on, and would like to share some progress.
I just had NotebookLM AI generate a video discussing about the game.
Note, the game is all handcrafted, not AI generated (except for NPC dialog).
That said, the video shows pretty accurately what you might find in the game:
The bots seem to be pretty excited about the game, even though I only fed them my source code and readme 😛
Does this game sound too good to be true? Their description is actually pretty accurate! (for the most part).
The game is pretty close to done, but there are still pending questions. Please share your thoughts in the comments:
I'm trying to setup a new Patreon page:
I don't really know how to set that up, but I'm learning.
Please share your thoughts!
Ciao, and have a good weekend!
😉

Hello gamers,
we are currently working on the mobile version of "The Test if Insanity"
So we're running an early playtest. This means you'll get to try the game on Android before release for free!
That's the full version, which includes 50 levels (so 40 more levels on top of the Newgrounds version)!
If you own an Android phone and you're interested, please message me directly. We'll just need your email to get you signed up.
Cheers!

I made this insane trailer for "The Test of Insanity", and it's so stupid I couldn't help but share with everyone!
If you haven't yet, you should play the demo on Newgrounds:
And if you're in the mood for more insane levels, check out the full game on Steam!

It takes a big man to admit when they suck at something.
One thing I suck at is art. So I decided to commission an artist to redo the thumbnail for my game "The Terror of Mongolia".

I finally got a job after several months struggling and getting so sick of interviews.
Making games and sharing it with y'all players, whether you're on Newgrounds or other spaces, is one of my big passion.
That partly worked against me, but also partly worked in my favor in recent job interviews.
I was open about sharing the fact that I've always had that passion for making games, and that has made me who I am today as a software developer.
So now that I'm earning money again, I'd like to give some of that back with my one year supported membership.
I know some supporters do give more, but I'm pretty cheap.

KC and I just worked on a game that defies logic. Introducing:
THE TEST OF INSANITY
What's interesting is that we started working on an RPG, and seeing the amount of work we had to put in, we started to go a bit insane. So instead, we dropped the initial idea and built this game.
See if you can pass all 10 levels before going insane:
But the true test of insanity comes into our full version with 50 crazy levels!
Play it on Steam, and check the trailer below:

Hi there,
So I've been making games for a while on Newgrounds, and these days I'm looking for contributors to help grow my open source project: A JavaScript game engine.
https://dev.to/jacklehamster/im-looking-for-contributors-for-my-open-source-project-33ac
I think using JavaScript is a great way to make games, because they can be shared on the web through Newgrounds or other portals, but also they can be exported to executable and released on Steam or phone games released on Android / iPhone.
If you love to make games, and you're looking for a nice engine to use, well this one is in development but we're getting there!
Feel free to ping me as well if you're an artist and have a game idea in mind. I'm trying to make this game engine easy to use even for non-programmers.

A few weeks ago, I participated in #js13k gamejam (https://js13kgames.com/#winners) and made a rogue-like shooter that fits in 13kb! My game ended up with 🏆#12 spot! (ok it was mainly thanks to "theme"... but whatever.).
This is the post-jam release, with more features! And a bunch of medals to collect! I know y'all love it.
🎖 🏆🏅🥇🥈🥉
Check it out! and Have fun!
